Norwich Hosts Author During Todd Lecture Series

Lieutenant General Roméo Dallaire (ret.) is known as an international champion of human rights. He is an award-winning author and was leader and commander of the 1994 UN Assistance Mission for Rwanda.

Norwich University’s School of Social Sciences will host Todd Lecture Series speaker Lieutenant General Roméo Dallaire (ret.) on Monday, March 26 at 7 p.m. in Plumley Armory.

This event is free and open to the public.

Dallaire is known as an international champion of human rights. He is an award-winning author and was leader and commander of the 1994 UN Assistance Mission for Rwanda.

Dallaire’s books, “Shake Hands with the Devil” and “They Fight Like Soldiers, They Die Like Children,” will be available for purchase at Plumley the evening of the lecture and at the Norwich bookstore. A book signing will follow the lecture.

The Todd Lecture Series is named in honor of US Army retired Maj. Gen. and Norwich President Emeritus W. Russell Todd, ‘50, and his wife, Carol, in gratitude for their dedicated service to the University. With this series, Norwich reaches out to bring important, significant lecturers to campus. All events are free and open to the public.
