Part of the fun in joining a Chino Hills boot camp is the sense of camaraderie. The team at “The Camp” Boot Camp in Chino Hills is signed up for this year’s Irvine Lake Mud Run, an unforgettable event that is not for the faint of heart.

The camaraderie of a Chino Hills Boot Camp just can’t be beat. Ultimately, that is what turns beginners focused on weight loss into lifers focused on maintaining their fitness levels. A boot camp workout strengthens one’s muscles, tones one’s core and fine-tunes the cardiovascular system for an intense, total body workout. There is no better way to prepare for a big race or fun fitness event. In fact, The Camp Boot Camp is signed up as a team for this year’s Irvine Lake Mud Run on March 31st.

The Irvine Lake Mud Run is a 5K course around the scenic Irvine Lake. The course is a mixed terrain of road, trails, hills, water, obstacle courses and over a dozen mud pits! Participants are looking for a challenging activity that is messy, fun and exhilarating. The cost of the race is $59 to be added to an open team and that includes a shirt, an official race number and timing chip, access to showers, food and drinks at the finish line, and admission to the concert / beer garden grounds.

“We are really excited to participate in the Irvine Lake Mud Run again,” says Sam Bakhtiar, head of The Camp Chino Hills Boot Camp. “We’re known as a formidable force in the Chino Hills area because we keep stealing first place victories from the other camps in town, but what can I say? Our people like to work hard and play hard!” He adds that over 30 people from The Camp have joined to compete.

The Irvine Lake Mud Run is just one of many fun activities the group at The Camp Chino Hills Boot Camp participates in each year. In April, the group will run in “The Color Run” 5k in Irvine and they’ll compete again in the Los Angeles Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge Race in May. Last year, The Camp Boot Camp won first place, against literally thousands of other competitors! “That’s what happens when you train at The Camp,” explains Personal Trainer and Co-owner Alejandra Font. “You end up winning, having fun, making friends and having a blast! I can’t wait to do it all over again!”

It’s not too late for individuals to sign up for a free one-week trial of The Camp Chino Hills Boot Camp and register as part of the crew for the Irvine Mud Run. They can simply visit to join the fun of a fitness boot camp.
