While Kerrey moved "further to the left" during his decade in New York, Nebraska simply moved on.
Lincoln, NE (PRWEB) March 23, 2012
Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska today began airing a new statewide television ad about Bob Kerrey's support for liberal policies like Obamacare and cap and trade. AFP-NE purchased $105,000 in ad space across Nebraska to educate Nebraskans about Kerrey's positions.
"Bob Kerrey can run but he can't hide from support for Obama's health care takeover," said AFP's Nebraska State Director, Brad Stevens. "Kerrey may have become more 'liberal' during his time in New York, but Nebraskans remain opposed to his big government ideology."
The ad features recordings of Kerry's statements in support of Obama's healthcare takeover and cap and trade.
"Kerrey is wrong if he thinks Nebraskans won't pay attention to his record," explained Stevens. "While Kerrey moved 'further to the left' during his decade in New York, Nebraska simply moved on."
This isn't the first time Americans for Prosperity has exposed Kerrey's liberal record. Earlier this year AFP-NE aired another ad reminding Nebraskans about Kerrey's support for big government policies.
