SmartWatt Energy is pleased to announce that Adrian Rowe has joined the company as a Construction Manager in its New York City office.

SmartWatt Energy is a leading provider of turnkey direct install programs for utilities. After a strong 2011 performance in their New York City based small business direct install program, the company has hired staff to continue this growth.

“Our utility-based small business direct install programs continue to grow and as new direct install opportunities arise, it is crucial that we add staff members to our team who have experience, industry knowledge, proven leadership abilities and a commitment to safety,” said Matt Cinquanti, SmartWatt Energy’s Vice President of Utility Programs. “Adrian encompasses all of these traits and will make a great addition to the SmartWatt Energy team.”

Adrian has more than 13 years of combined technical, supervisory and project management experience in the electrical industry, most recently as an Electrical Instructor at the Career Institute of Health and Technology. Prior to this, he was an Electrical Foreman for Solar Electric System, Inc., where he supervised a team of electricians in the maintenance, repair and installation of electrical technologies. Adrian was also as Electrician for Enterprise Electric, Inc. and B.A.C. Electric, Inc. He graduated from Queens College with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics. Adrian will be responsible for overseeing SmartWatt Energy’s electrical installers in the design and installation of energy-efficient lighting upgrade projects for the company’s small business customers in the New York City area.
