CommunicateHealth, Inc. is the 2012 recipient of the Emerging Star award sponsored by the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce (USWCC). The Emerging Star is awarded for exceptional contractors exhibiting outstanding growth and achievement in developing federal contracting markets and opportunities. The award will be formally presented by Margot Dorfman, CEO of USWCC, to Stacy Robison, President of CommunicateHealth during the Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) National Council Spring Conference, March 27, 2012 in Washington, DC.

CommunicateHealth was co-founded in 2009 by Stacy Robison and Xanthi Scrimgeour. The company is a certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Business Enterprise (LGBTBE).

CommunicateHealth helps federal and private sector organizations communicate clearly with consumers – via print and interactive media. The company specializes in plain language writing, content management, user-centered design, and usability testing for health websites. CommunicateHealth’s federal clients include the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
