With so many divorces being filed each year, it is important to keep a strong foundation within a couple’s marriage. To help strengthen one’s marriage comes the new book, “Marriage: To Whom Am I Cleaving?” (published by AuthorHouse) a discourse on how marriage has been transformed over time. Author John Lewis discusses in detail the shift in the marital relationship from Yahweh to man, from man to woman, and from man/woman to Satan.
“To Whom Am I Cleaving?” is an explanation of the principles, secrets, laws or rules by which a marriage works. While most books on marriage are based on counseling experiences, this book gives readers biblical principles, secrets and guidelines for a happy and successful marriage.
It is Lewis’ aim to help readers develop a lasting and intimate Christ-centered relationship with their partners. “What inspired me to write this book was to bring the awareness of the origin of marriage, and the necessity of faithfulness to each other in marriage,” explains Lewis.
The principles discussed in “To Whom Am I Cleaving?” serve as windows through which readers see their roles as a husband, wife and parent.
