In honor of Autism Awareness month, MomsFightingAutism.com is offering a free virtual conference with 40 informative presentations. MomsFightingAutism.com’s 3rd annual conference is scheduled for Monday, April 9th through Sunday April 15th, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, at http://www.MomsFightingAutism.com. This online event is ideal for moms who have children on the autism spectrum who want to learn more and connect with others, but either do not have time or the resources to travel to attend a physical autism conference. MomsFightingAutism.com conference attendees can simply use their computers or smartphones to listen to the conference and post questions live to presenters, from the comfort of their homes or wherever they may be.
"In honor of Autism Awareness month, I want to provide free practical information on autism to all who need it,” said Ernest Priestly, Founder of MomsFightingAutism.com. “For many parents, it is difficult to leave home to attend conferences. A virtual conference is the best way for moms, dads, grandparents and teachers to get information they need without leaving their home. I’m glad I can help make their lives a little easier.”
Introducing New Mobile App
This year, MomsFightingAutism.com is the first autism conference to introduce a free mobile app for conference goers. The app works on the iPad and iPhone, Android and Blackberry Torch phones. Users of the app can browse speaker bios, view schedules and stream sessions no matter where they are. “We’re always thinking of ways to innovate and this year is no exception. Moms are mobile and now so are we. I’m so proud to announce our free mobile app that will enable moms and others to participate more easily. In the past, attendees had to sit at their laptop or desktop computers, now they are free to roam anywhere while using their ear buds to participate in our conference.“ said Ernest Priestly.
Moms may register to attend this free online conference at http://www.MomsFightingAutism.com. Once participants have registered, they can download the free mobile app to their smartphone or participate via their computers.
MomsFightingAutism.com hosts webinars for mothers of children on the autism spectrum and anyone interested in learning more about autism. MomsFightingAutism.com provides tools and services that allow members to connect, support and learn from each other. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), autism spectrum disorders are diagnosed in one in 110 children in the United States.
