ChurchCentral.com, an online leadership “mega-blog” featuring practical leadership ideas and inspiration, has created a new event called Turnaround 20/20. The conference, which will be held this Oct. 23rd at the LifeWay conference center in Nashville, Tenn., will feature 20 speakers, 20 minutes at a time, giving their best advice on how to help a struggling church.

Turnaround 20/20 speakers include Bob Whitesel, Chuck Lawless, Gary McIntosh, Nelson Searcy, Elmer Towns, George Hunter, Charles Arn, Carl George and John Ewart. Additional speakers to be announced.

“The need for turnaround is pervasive throughout the church,” said Tom Harper, publisher of ChurchCentral.com. “The good news is that many churches have experienced great revitalization. Some of those stories will be told at 20/20.”

The day before the event, the Society for Church Consulting will host advanced training led by Chuck Lawless and John Ewart. Church consultants can take the last two levels required for certification, and additional specialty training will be offered. On Wed., Oct. 24th, the Great Commission Research Network will host its annual conference at the same location, featuring a turnaround roundtable hosted by church growth author Dr. Gary McIntosh.
