To make it easier for small businesses to take advantage of Every Door Direct Mail™ − a U. S. Postal Service® program − DirectMail2Go has launched EDDM2Go. This sister website offers customizable products designed to meet USPS format guidelines. No mailing list or postal permit is needed. EDDM2Go does all the work, while customers reap the benefits of sending saturation campaigns for a reduced postage cost. Both sites were developed by Progressive Impressions International (Pii), a Taylor company. DirectMail2Go and EDDM2Go are direct mail alliance partners of the USPS.

EDDM2Go website is now live!

“EDDM2Go’s pricing is competitive with similar websites offering these services,” continues Ron Drenning, Director of EDDM2Go. “It is all-inclusive for print, postal preparation and mail fulfillment. We do all the work."

Many businesses, such as retailers, restaurants, insurance agents and healthcare providers, seek to promote themselves to a defined geographic area. Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM)™ was introduced by the USPS as a way for small businesses to gain the benefits of direct mail on a smaller budget. It allows businesses to target specific areas in their local markets without the need for a name or an address. That information does not need to be printed on the mail piece, so production costs are reduced. And, since the list is selected by carrier routes, this qualifies for a lower postage rate too. EDDM™ offers an economical way to reach potential customers and increase new business.

“EDDM2Go is a new website that allows customization of products that meet the format specs set forth by the USPS,” says Ron Drenning, Managing Director of EDDM2Go. “Based on our experience with DirectMail2Go, we know customers prefer to upload their own creative files and upload their own photos and write copy. That’s how our current products are designed.”

Next, customers select carrier routes by entering up to 5five ZIP codes, a specific address or a radius around one ZIP code. “Carrier routes are selected right on our website,” explains Drenning. “We don’t make customers visit another website to do this step.” Consumer or consumer plus business delivery types are available, as well as options for PO Boxes, City and Rural routes. A map is displayed that lets customers select which carrier routes to include, possibly limiting some due to total quantity available and/or budget.

“EDDM2Go’s pricing is competitive with similar websites offering these services,” continues Drenning. “It is all-inclusive for print, postal preparation and mail fulfillment. We do all the work … printing, bundling, facing slips and postal paperwork. We deliver the mail pieces to the USPS quickly, meaning your campaign reaches recipients faster −– within 10 days from the time the order is placed. It’s important for customers to carefully compare services and know exactly what is included.”
