AccessVia announces that Groupo Commercial Chedraui, a retailer with operations in Mexico and the United States, has selected the AccessVia Digital Signs extension for Web dSignShop for their new roll-out of digital shelf-edge signs. The project is supported in country by Versatil™, The It Company™, an AccessVia partner and reseller in Central and South America.
Chedraui has used AccessVia Web dSignShop to print signs and labels in their stores since 2010. Using the same system that is already in place for printing signs and labels, Chedraui will deliver product and price information to the digital signs in their stores. The Digital Sign extension to Web dSignShop enables a dynamic, real-time rendering of product content to any digital display devices such as LCD screens, electronic shelf labels, electronic signs, and self-service applications. Display templates are created using the same tools as print templates, providing consistent design and publishing.
Stores use the Web dSignShop interface to update the digital sign devices in the same manner as printing signs and labels – capitalizing on the publish everywhere capabilities of the AccessVia Publishing Platform.
The shelf-edge digital signs from Pricer will be used for product promotions in Chedraui stores. AccessVia Digital Signs extension can present different messages in each department or store across a retail enterprise.
