South Texas is one of the fastest growing oil and gas markets in the country, and what better way to gain awareness for your company and make new contacts in an expanding market than to be a part of a proven forum like the South Texas Oilfield Expo?

Texas Classic Productions LLC, the powerhouse production company behind the East Texas Oilfield Expo, the largest oil and gas trade show in the Ark-La-Tex, has announced plans for a new oil and gas trade show in South Texas: the South Texas Oilfield Expo.

The South Texas Oilfield Expo is scheduled to be held on September 19th and 20th 2012 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. The show will feature over 1000 exhibitors from across South Texas and around the country, as well as a heavy equipment display area, cutting-edge demonstrations, an exclusive keynote luncheon, and more. Management of Texas Classic Productions hopes to replicate the tremendous success of their East Texas oil and gas trade show with the new event.

“Take a look – it’s the same style of show, but with a little South Texas flair,” said Sam Logan, Texas Classic Productions’ Sales Manager. “South Texas is one of the fastest growing oil and gas markets in the country, and what better way to gain awareness for your company and make new contacts in an expanding market than to be a part of a proven forum like the South Texas Oilfield Expo?”

Texas Classic’s most recent event, this year’s East Texas Oilfield Expo, was held on March 7th and 8th in Longview. The sold-out event pushed the Maude Cobb Convention Center to its limits, with over 1000 exhibitors in attendance from a variety of local and national companies representing every facet of the oil and gas industry. The show also featured over 50 heavy equipment displays, leading industry speakers, and more. Public officials estimate the show drew in a crowd of over 15,000 oil and gas professionals. It is currently the largest trade show of its kind in the Ark-La-Tex region.

The response from the East Texas Oilfield Expo has been overwhelmingly positive according to representatives from Texas Classic Productions, which bodes well for their South Texas venture. They say they expect the show to be huge, and signs are already pointing at it selling out early: registration has only been open for two days, but the company has already received a flood of booth reservations. If things continue at their present rate, the company estimates it will completely sell out the show in a matter of months.
