This experience exceeded my expectations and Alchemy couldn't have been a better host. I walked in with a limited understanding of what SISTEM does and left with a much greater knowledge of its capability and application.

Alchemy, the leader in innovative training solutions for the global workforce, announced today registration for the 4th Annual SISTEM User Group Conference is now open. The conference will take place in Austin, Texas on September 25-26, 2012 at the Omni Hotel.

Judy Bauman, Training Manager at Kellogg said of last year’s user group, “This experience exceeded my expectations and Alchemy couldn't have been a better host. I walked in with a limited understanding of what SISTEM does and left with a much greater knowledge of its capability and application. I now feel armed to help my clients in an entirely different way.”

The 2012 User Group will continue to attract users of the SISTEM training platform from across the world to discuss best practices for offsetting training challenges faced by food and workplace safety professionals. Keynote speakers will include Dr. David Acheson, Partner and Managing Director of Food and Import Safety at Leavitt Partners LLC and Mark A. Lies II, Labor and Employment Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Dr. Acheson will speak on the current regulatory and food safety challenges for the food industry and Mr. Lies will cover recent and upcoming OSHA initiatives in addition to providing solid information on OSHA’s training regulations.

Industry experts from popular Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certified schemes will also be present to update attendees on scheme revisions and initiatives. Representatives include John Kukoly, Senior Technical Marketing Consultant for the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and LeAnn Chuboff, Technical Director at the Safe Quality Foods Institute (SQF).

Throughout the conference, attendees will also take part in training sessions designed for both beginner and advanced users of the SISTEM platform. Trainings will include sessions on reporting, building and deploying company specific courses and managing your overall training plan using SISTEM. Advanced topics include SCORM eLearning features, learning plans and groups. Alchemy will also unveil SISTEM Creator, a new product that will empower customers to create and deliver training content natively through the SISTEM platform.

“Each year our team works hard to put together a valuable and fun experience for our customers,” said Jeff Eastman, Chief Executive Officer at Alchemy. “This year is no different as our customers will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and their peers and Alchemy will learn what our customers want to see in our next generation training technologies. We will accomplish all of this while enjoying the best food and landmarks of Austin.”
