ETNA Software announces the results of the international programming competition, Creative Spark Day #2. This competition was organized by one of ETNA's clients, Service Repair Solutions, Inc. ETNA Software programmers, who took part in the competition, won the top two prizes at the event.
"We have been partners with Service Repair Solutions for more than a year now, and we are proud to take part in this competition to demonstrate the skills of our programmers," comments Roman Zhukov, the CEO of ETNA Software. “Our team had great fun brainstorming the ideas we were planning to implement and actually producing two fully functional pieces of software from scratch in 24 hours."
The event was held in a hackathon format and brought together 60 programmers from 4 countries: The USA, Russia, Uruguay, and Vietnam. The teams were given 24 hours to develop a unique piece of software, and 27 projects overall were presented for judging. After the final voting, the applications from ETNA Software programmers won first and second place prizes.
