Lesson Planet is thrilled to be a Finalist in the CODiE awards. It’s an honor to be recognized and validated as an innovator.

Lesson Planet, the leading online curriculum search solution for PreK-12 educators, has been selected as one of four finalists in the Best Education Reference Solution category for the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) 27th annual CODiE awards. Lesson Planet provides educators with a convenient way to search 400,000+ teacher-reviewed open educational resources that can be narrowed by grade, subject, rating, and more to address specific student needs.

The prestigious CODiEs are the only peer-reviewed awards program in the software information industry. The category of Best Education Reference Solution honors services that most effectively package reference, library, or research information for educational purposes in K-12 and/or postsecondary markets. This year, for the first time in CODiE awards history, all nominated Education Technology products were reviewed solely by educators.

“As a former educator myself, I wanted to provide a convenient, time-saving way for teachers to find online curriculum resources,” said Jim Hurley, Lesson Planet’s Founder and CEO. “We are thrilled to be a Finalist in the CODiE awards. It’s an honor to be recognized and validated as an innovator.”

The next round of votes will be cast by SIIA members, including software, digital content, and other technology companies that address education needs. Winners of the Education Technology CODiE awards will be announced on May 7 at the Ed Tech Industry Summit in San Francisco.
