Founder of CareOne Debt Relief Services talks about how his experience with debt makes him believe in second chances.

CareOne Debt Relief Services, led by its founder, Bernie Dancel, have a new marketing campaign that draws on his personal experience to overcome the negative stereotype plaguing people who are seeking debt help.

“I believe in second chances,” says Dancel. “At the age of 22 I filed for personal bankruptcy. My divorce and the responsibility of supporting two households with one income were a strain financially. I didn’t know where to turn, so I contacted my lawyer. My lawyer recommended bankruptcy, and unaware that I had alternative options to pay off my debt, I took his advice. Feeling like I had let my creditors and my family down, I trusted my attorney and filed for bankruptcy. I was given a second chance, when I realized I could help others.”

For Dancel, providing debt relief services is a way to offer others facing similar financial challenges, a second chance. CareOne offers multiple options that allow consumers to regain control of their debt, build a financial education and as a result, a debt-free life.

The new campaign is about creating a safe environment for everyone struggling with debt.
