Social communty expert to speak at leading association industry event

WHAT:    Sterling Raphael, president of AvectraLabs, the innovation think tank of Avectra, a leading developer of web-based Social CRM solutions for associations and not-for-profits, will be a featured presenter at the California Society of Association Executives (CalSAE) annual conference, taking place March 28-30 in Newport Beach, California.

    With nearly 1,200 members, CalSAE is the third largest local Society of Association Executives in the nation. CalSAE serves the entire state of California and includes a rich array of education and training programs, services, and networking opportunities, serving association professionals at all levels.
WHO:     Sterling Raphael, president of AvectraLabs, the innovation think tank of Avectra: A veteran public speaker, Sterling will present “Tips and Tools for Online Community Engagement” on Thursday, March 29 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. The interactive discussion will explore best practices of planning, launching and engaging an online community while utilizing social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to drive participation. Session attendees will learn how to:

  •     Improve member value, driving engagement, and generating non dues revenue, all while increasing operational efficiency
  •     Enrich the member experience by facilitating the knowledge management between and for members while leveraging new technology
  •     Execute on engagement strategies with specific tools – based on case studies and visual examples
