Premier’s approach with its customers is to provide value as a “partner” in the health care business environment.
(PRWEB) March 29, 2012
The Surgery Center of Pennsylvania’s anesthesia leadership, Dr. William Goldstein and Dr. Bill Isaacson, selected Premier Anesthesia, a national anesthesia management and consulting company, to support its provision of anesthesia to the Center. The Center is multi-specialty and performs approximately 6,500 cases annually. The contract went into effect on January 1, 2012.
The Surgery Center of Pennsylvania LLC is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) and Medicare certified. The Center selected Premier Anesthesia (a subsidiary of Jackson Healthcare Family of Companies) as its exclusive vendor for anesthesia management.
“This is a very high quality place, surgically speaking, we have world renowned, world class surgeons and the provision of anesthesia services was very important. We wanted to maintain a certain standard so the partnership with Premier consists of talking to their leadership on a daily basis and deciding how many anesthesia providers, both CRNAs and anesthesiologists will be sent here each day to provide the best care. That has worked out very well for us. We get providers that are not only nice to work with but are capable, qualified and complement Dr. Goldstein and myself very well. The provision of anesthesia services has remained very good,” said Dr. Bill Isaacson, Medical Director of Surgery Center of Pennsylvania.
“Premier’s approach with its customers is to provide value as a “partner” in the health care business environment. By aligning with and supporting the Center’s goals and strategic direction, Premier is able to enhance patients’ and surgeons’ experience with the provision of anesthesia. Our goal is to maintain a high level of customer service while applying our proprietary technologies to maximize efficiency and achieve measurable change in productivity and profitability for the Surgery Center of Pennsylvania,” said Kerry Teel, president of Premier Anesthesia.
“We were seriously considering other anesthesia services management groups but Premier offered flexibility, they offered a certain economy of scale which allowed us to be efficient and economical in these difficult and trying economic times. They provide us with leadership management, scheduling and billing. The entire experience has been nothing but positive for us,” said Dr. William Goldstein, Chief Anesthesiologist of Surgery Center of Pennsylvania.
