The College Station Easter Celebration is Saturday, March 31 at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M University.
The Easter Celebration is from 9:30 a.m. to noon and features a variety of family-friendly activities, including carnival games, face painting, inflatables, grab bags, free popcorn and drinks, and a petting zoo.
The highlight of the event is the White House-style egg roll and Easter egg hunt, similar to what the first family does each year on the lawn of the White House.
Schedule of events
9:30 a.m.: Easter Celebration begins
9:45-9:50 a.m.: Easter Bunny arrives
10 a.m.: Easter Egg Hunt (children up to age 7)
10:05 a.m.: Photos with Easter Bunny (must have own camera)
10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop (cost $25, must pre-register)
11 a.m.: Kite Flying Contest begins
Noon: Easter Celebration ends
1:30-3:30 p.m.: Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop (cost $25, must pre-register)
