Highly interactive and engaging illustrated books for ages 3-6 in new app.

We're excited to have helped build and launch one of the only trade publisher apps available in the iTunes app store.

Today Red Chair Press (RCP) announced the release of its engaging new app for young children and families available exclusively through Apple iTunes App Store.

The new Red Chair Press app is free to download and offers a full library of interactive eBooks including the award-winning Funny Bone Readers series. With the launch of the app, RCP will be releasing two brand-new titles that will keep children reading and interacting with the stories over and over. Topics of the humorous and colorful books available for download include never giving up, being a good friend, keeping active, dealing with your feelings and more.

Red Chair Press teamed with Interactive Touch to develop the uniquely appealing books because they shared a mission to create high quality materials that enhance learning through laughter.

“Children love a good story and our books have been popular with both educators and parents because of the engaging nature of the stories and illustrations, but also because each book interweaves a model of good behavior for young kids,” explained Keith Garton, president of RCP. “And now these popular stories are readily available with interactive illustrations and audio for hearing the story read aloud. It’s just natural that a child wants to point and touch the pictures in a storybook – and with the RCP app and eBooks, those pictures jump right around the pages.”

“We’re excited to have helped build and launch one of the only trade publisher apps available in the iTunes app store. Even better is knowing that we helped stock the app with highly interactive, dynamic versions of RCP’s educational content – one stop shopping for parents and kids,” said Ameen Saafir, founder and CEO of Interactive Touch.
