The mind which means that all it wants is peace must join with other minds, for that is how peace is obtained. And when the wish for peace is genuine, the means for finding it is given, in a form each mind that seeks for it in honesty can understand.

Peace Mosaic

Make your pledge for peace today! Create a mosaic piece to illustrate your commitment and join thousands of others from around the world as part of The Peace Mosaic.

Peace Mosaic Event Coordinator Nancy Reid today held the first of a series of “Peace Mosaic Workshops” scheduled to occur at various locations in Wisconsin Dells between now and September; and weekly in “The Bridge” at the Cheese Factory Restaurant, 521 Wisconsin Dells Parkway, Wisconsin Dells, WI.

The Peace Mosaic, the ultimate symbol of of a genuine desire and commitment to peace by citizens of the world, will be showcased in the spectacular Revelation Hall as one of the highlights of the ten-day celebration of International Forgiveness Week and the Weekend of Perfect Peace, beginning September 14 and continuing through September 23, 2012, at the Miracles Healing Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

The Peace Mosaic is being created as a gigantic collage of individual pledges for peace from around the world. Explained Coordinator Reid, “Pledges for peace can be as varied as personal silent moments of prayer, to vows to make amends, to pacts to take action for peace in personal or political scenarios of conflict. The Mosaic piece itself can be an artful representation of the pledge or a text statement of the pledge. The workshops are designed to support individuals both to make the actual pledge for peace and to inspire them with instruction, models, and materials for the mosaic tiles.”

“In a real sense,” continued Reid, “the Peace Mosaic Workshops are a safe, gentle, relaxing and relaxed environment where participants experience the child-like delight and deep peace that is then communicated and shared through their individual mosaic tiles.”

Nancy Reid began the first workshop with a prayer from A Course In Miracles, perfectly reflecting the spirit of the Peace Mosaic. “Peace be to me, the holy Son of God. Peace to my brother, who is one with me. Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.

“Father, it is Your peace that I would give, receiving it of You. I am Your Son, forever just as You created me, for the Great Rays remain forever still and undisturbed within me. I would reach to them in silence and in certainty, for nowhere else can certainty be found. Peace be to me, and peace to all the world. In holiness were we created, and in holiness do we remain. Your Son is like to You in perfect sinlessness. And with this thought we gladly say "Amen."”

Reid noted, “You may submit as many mosaic pieces as you want. You can sign your pieces on the front or they can be anonymous. Mosaic pieces we receive will not be returned to you. The deadline to be included in the Peace Mosaic is August 15, 2012. We will also have art material available during International Forgiveness Week and the Weekend of Perfect Peace for attendees to create a mosaic piece.”

Continued Reid, “Make your pledge for peace today! Create a mosaic piece to illustrate your commitment and join thousands of others from around the world as part of The Peace Mosaic.”
