TRACT users can now verify rules and activity-based pricing without having to create complicated test data and test cases.
Austin, TX (PRWEB) March 29, 2012
Transverse LLC today announced enhancements to TRACT, its all-in-one subscription management, rating and activity-based billing platform. This latest release of TRACT offers added payment and allowance options, as well as immediate testing and verification features that enable greater flexibility and more rapid implementation for recurring or activity-based billing.
“Billing – whether recurring subscriptions or more difficult usage-based activities – is a difficult challenge for companies to solve,” said Stephan Pahlke, Vice President of Product Solutions at Transverse. "With each of our monthly releases of TRACT, we turn customer feedback into solutions for meeting billing challenges."
New Payment and Activity Allowance Options in TRACT
With its latest release, TRACT integrates with CHASE Paymentech, giving TRACT users and their customers the choice to use yet another prominent payment processing option.
Additionally, this latest version of TRACT allows the platform user to add greater levels of customization to billing, which increases customer satisfaction and service activity. With this latest release, TRACT users can augment standard subscriptions with additional Allowances:
- Recurring activity allowances, which automatically renew with each subscription period;
- One-time allowances that expire after a designated time or when completely consumed;
- Unlimited allowances that have no expiration.
When combined with TRACT’s Rollover function, marketing and product development teams can dictate whether an unused allowance will expire at the end of the current billing period (no Rollover), will be carried forward (One-time or Unlimited), or be added to the next billing period (Recurring with Rollover).
Streamlined Testing and Verification in TRACT
Product management and marketing professionals will also benefit from the ability to conduct immediate Testing and Verification of Service Activity charging rules. "TRACT users can now verify rules and activity-based pricing without having to create complicated test data and test cases," noted Pahlke, explaining that for every rule defined in TRACT, the new test user interface will allow TRACT customers to test activity records on the fly. "You can create test record interactivity, in real-time, while you are configuring your activity charging rules," he added.
Upon execution of the test case, users can immediately see the results of each test and can make any necessary adjustments to ensure their charging rules are functioning as required.
“With real-time, interactive test functionality, TRACT users can accelerate their tests cycles,” said Pahlke “and shorten the time-to-market for new product offerings, price plans, and revenue streams.”
