TinBu, a leading provider of interactive content applications for online publishers and wireless groups, is pleased to announce they have selected their U.S. Crime Channel content platform as the recipient of their Best Designed award. The U.S. Crime Report Channel features an integrated database of registered sex offenders with 100% U.S. coverage. Updated crime reports are also available covering over 700 U.S. markets. Designed by Nitin Advani, a Senior Developer with TinBu, the U.S. Crime Channel was selected as the best designed TinBu content channel from a selection of over 20 different content channels due to its interactive features and integrated mapping, charting, and graphing components.
"Nitin Advani did an outstanding job designing the U.S. Crime Channel," said John Brier, TinBu's CEO. "We are fortunate to have someone of his skill and dedication developing interactive products for us. The new U.S. Crime Channel is a clear indication of the skill and dedication Nitin brings to bear when designing products we make available to our customers around the world," added Brier.

The U.S. Crime Report Channel allows users to search for crimes that have occurred in specific areas using Google Maps, and by entering in zip codes or city/town names. Users can look back at crimes activity over specific time periods, and can also use filtering tools to look for specific types of crimes that have occurred, to include assault, robber, auto accidents, auto theft, rape, murder, and other categories of crime. Users can also search specifically for registered sex offenders in a given area.
