Leading car retailer Hendy Kia in Eastleigh and Cosham has shown its support for My Purple Pledge, a fundraising campaign organised by the charity Young Epilepsy. The 26 March is Purple Day, and marks the international day of epilepsy awareness. In proud support, the entire staff at Hendy Kia went purple; from purple clothes to purple face paint, Kia’s signature red was transformed for the day to raise awareness.

Mark Busby, Marketing and New Sales Director at Hendy Kia, comments: “We are very proud to be supporting such a worthwhile cause. The Purple Pledge campaign makes a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people who suffer with epilepsy. We’re aiming to raise lots of money and awareness for the charity by going purple on March 26 and we’re encouraging our Eastleigh and Cosham residents and customers to join the fun!"

My Purple Pledge takes place annually during the month of March to coincide with Purple Day. The campaign aims to raise money for the 112,000 people under 25 years of age affected by epilepsy in Great Britain through donations and events.
