With so many patients coming in and out of the hospital on any given day, keeping track of customer satisfaction data, and making sure that both mother and child maintain their health after discharge can be a difficult task. Many hospitals are taking initiative to keep track of this data, but oftentimes they don’t have the resources to do so. That is why CipherHealth has just launched the new CipherVoice program for Women’s Health. This program is the first women’s health specific automated callback system in the United States. The Women’s Health callback system quickly triages patients and asks them questions specific to their needs. If a new mother has questions about feeding or caring for her baby, the program schedules a nurse to call back at a time most convenient to the patient. CipherHealth knows that a caring, personal phone call from a nurse is the best way to resolve questions that a patient has after being discharged from the hospital. The program also reaches out to women who have visited the OB/GYN wing of the hospital for reasons other than childbirth, inquiring as to whether they have a follow up appointment, if they need help scheduling a follow up appointment, or if they have questions regarding their medication regimen. CipherVoice gathers this data and using an advanced reporting system embedded into all CipherHealth programs, it turns this data into valuable, and more importantly, useful metrics, leading to improved clinical outcomes, lower readmission rates and higher patient satisfaction.
