Funniest woman in Pleasant Hill produces comedy show for Bay Area Crisis Nursery

The sweetest laughter in the world comes from Momma. That's why Veronica Dangerfield decided to produce the Mother's Day Comedy show as a tribute. This hard working mother of 3 discovered a way for hard-working comedians and long-suffering non-profits to join together in a mutual beneficial relationship. Since Comedy for Community creation numerous non-profits have benefited from its sponsored events. We have fun intelligent humor. Our motto is "We won't be cussing at your Momma." This year's event is a benefit for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery. The purpose of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery is to prevent abuse and neglect of children by providing support to families who are in stress or crisis.

Dangerfield also teaches financial literacy with her comic skills. She won the Innovative Educator Award for her work with the low-income and under banked populations. She recently taught "Straight A's Never Made Anybody Rich" at San Francisco State University at the Women Empowerment Program. The students love her seminar. Learning about money has never been so much fun. She has taught seminars and workshops throughout Northern California high schools, junior colleges and universities.

This year’s show brings together the top comics in the Bay Area. Featuring Dhaya Lakshminarayanan, Aundre the Wonder Woman, Julia Jackson. Also introducing the debut of new comic Troy Dangerfield. This year show will have a guest performance by Cassie Primo Steele with amazing poetry from her new book The Pomegranate Papers.
