On Saturday, April 21, 2012, the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will host its 37th annual Got Guts Gala at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia, Pa. This affair is the premier fund-raising event for the Chapter, benefiting Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis patients and their families. Diane and Warren Chaiken, of Blue Bell, PA, will serve as the event’s chairpersons. NBC-10 News Reporter Lu Ann Cahn will serve as emcee of the evening.
The Gala is an opportunity for the Chapter to recognize individuals for their outstanding efforts to expand research and support services for both the general public and the Crohn’s and colitis community. This year’s honoree is James Lewis, MD, MSCE of Moorestown, NJ, and our 2012 Patient Speaker is Morgan Check, MSN, CRNP of Philadelphia, PA.
Tickets for the Got Guts Gala are available to the public for $250 per person. Sponsorship packages that include an advertisement in the event e-journal are also available. Attendees will have the opportunity to eat, drink and dance while helping to raise funds for the local charity.
