Women In Defense has announced that it has received a contribution of $10,000 for the HORIZONS Scholarship Program from EADS North America.
This contribution will help the program reach its fundraising goal for this fiscal year. In addition, it will further the mission of Women in Defense (WID) to support the development and recognition of women involved in every aspect of national security.
"This donation for HORIZONS is significant, and I cannot say thank you enough," said Brenda McKinney, who serves as the HORIZONS Scholarship Director on the WID National Board of Directors. "This contribution from EADS North America will create a wonderful opportunity to help a number of deserving young women pursue their studies," she added.
