Fiddler’s Creek Realty Director of Sales/Broker Brett C. Brown has been honored by the Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR) as its 2011 Realtor of the Year. The award is one of the highest honors bestowed upon a member and honors those who contribute countless hours over years of service to help build, strengthen and protect the business environment that afford Realtors the opportunity to succeed and be respected in the community. NABOR started giving this award in 1965.
Brown is a Past President of NABOR and has served on most of the trade association’s committees, including Governmental Issues, RPAC, Leadership Development, Functions and Community Development. Brown was a graduate of the first Leadership Development Class in 2004 and served on the NABOR Board of Directors from 2007 through 2009. He also is a multiple year member of the NABOR Honor Society.
Brown was awarded the Realtor Committee Contribution Award in 2006 and the Naples Area Board Best Effort Award in 2007. On the national level, he serves as Chair of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) State and Local Leadership Forum for Global Business and on the Presidential Advisory Workgroup for the VISIT USA ACT. Recently, Brown was included in the NAR Leadership Academy. On the state level, Brown serves as the Florida Realtors District 5 DVP and as an RPAC Trustee. He also is an active member of several Florida Realtor committees.
Brown has nearly 30 years of local real estate experience, specializing in residential development sales and rentals. He joined Fiddler’s Creek Realty in 2011 and is responsible for overseeing all sales activities at the private, master-planned luxury residential community located just off Collier Boulevard on the way to Marco Island.
The Fiddler’s Creek community comprises approximately 4,000 acres and is zoned for 6,000 residences. With 1,700 residences completed, Fiddler’s Creek has approximately 4,300 residences yet to be built. With a very low density level of 1.6 homes per gross acre, the community will be comprised of about 100 distinct neighborhoods upon completion.
