Greenwood Animal Rehabilitation Center to OpenHigh End Consignment Store in Boulder Retail Outlet to Offer EstateQuality Merchandise

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, located in Lyons, announced today that it will open a high end consignment store, Greenwood Consignment Gallery, at 3600 Arapahoe Avenue on Monday, April 16, 2012.The location will also serve as the new home of the Greenwood Thrift Shop which will re-open on April 6 after moving from Walnut Gardens.

“As the cost of rehabilitating the growing number of orphaned and injured animals increases, we continue to seek new avenues to maintain the sustainability of Greenwood,” stated Linda Tyler, executive director.

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, located in Lyons, announced today that it will open a high end consignment store, Greenwood Consignment Gallery, at 3600 Arapahoe Avenue on Monday, April 16, 2012.The location will also serve as the new home of the Greenwood Thrift Shop which will re-open on April 6 after moving from Walnut Gardens.

Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is a local non-profit organization that is devoted to the rehabilitation and release of orphaned, sick, and injured wildlife, treating more than 2,400 animals each year. One hundred percent of the net profitsof both retail outlets will benefit Colorado’s wildlife in need.

“As the cost of rehabilitating the growing number of orphaned and injured animals increases, we continue to seek new avenues to maintain the sustainability of Greenwood,” stated Linda Tyler, executive director. “We believe the addition of the consignment gallery to our already successful thrift shop will be a terrific means to raise much needed funds. We’re offering the ideal venue for people to donate items as well as consign merchandisewith a local non-profit organization.”

Greenwood Consignment Gallerywill offer estate quality merchandise including jewelry, art, home décor and furniture, and will begin accepting items for consignment on April 2, 2012. Meanwhile, the Greenwood Thrift Store will continue to sell donated and gently used second-hand items including clothing, books, household goods and toys at the new location.
