The motorists affected are being offered free repairs, but now could be a great time to upgrade your vehicle to a newer and more reliable car.
Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK (PRWEB UK) 4 April 2012
Leading car manufacturer BMW has recalled over one million cars worldwide; including 109,000 in the UK because of a faulty battery cable.*
The defect cable lead, which could cause a fire, has sparked off concerns at the German carmaker so they have recalled 1.3 million vehicles. The recall is largely of the 5 and 6 Series BMWs, which were produced between 2003 and 2010.
The UK’s leading car finance website, Car Loan 4U believes that now could be the ideal time for any BMW drivers in the UK that are affected to buy a new vehicle.
Comments Car Loan 4U Co-Director Ryan Dignan;
“Driving your vehicle should be an enjoyable experience and the last thing you want is to feel stressed when driving it. The motorists affected are being offered free repairs, but now could be a great time to upgrade your vehicle to a newer and more reliable car.
“Buying a new car can be simple and affordable by taking the time to look at all the car finance options available to you. If you need additional support, a good car finance calculator such as the one from Car Loan 4U could help and starting interest rates of just 7.9% you could soon drive away with a brand new vehicle!”
It is always advisable to check your vehicle for regular maintenance and ensure that repairs are carried out. Older models may require more maintenance and care than newer cars.
