Several members of the staff of MHF Services attended the annual Waste Management Conference in Phoenix, Arizona from February 26 to March 1.
As a leading provider of packaging, transportation, logistics and technical services, MHF Services has had a presence at the Waste Management conference since 1994, when MHF pioneered the use of rail in the radioactive and hazardous waste markets.
The Waste Management Conference, presented by WM Symposia (WMS), is widely regarded as the premier international conference for the management of radioactive material and related topics.
The annual conference attracts more than 2,000 registrants, including decision-makers, project managers and technical and procurement specialists representing the government and private organizations undertaking the global tasks of radioactive material management, decommissioning and site remediation.
In addition to participating as an exhibitor, MHF was a Bronze Sponsor of the conference and hosted a private client reception. MHF also held a drawing for a free logistics study and one month’s free equipment rental.
“The Waste Management conference is the chief professional networking event of the year for the nuclear and radioactive markets,” said Scott Dempsey, MHF Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing. “It’s a great opportunity for us to convene with other experts to explore new approaches to the management and disposition of radioactive waste and materials.”
The staff members who represented MHF Services at the Waste Management conference this year were Scott Dempsey, Vice President; Ron Leonard, Business Development Manager; Lisa Sabol, Director; Robert Shawver, President and CEO; Michael Snyder, Project Manager; and Jared Stango, Chief Financial Officer.
