Phone Interview Pro today announced that it has signed a contract with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind to offer an innovative phone evaluation program to clients who are legally blind to improve their phone interview skills. The phone evaluation program is being offered by the agency to almost 100 state residents who are either college students or active job seekers, helping them successfully complete this crucial step in the interview process.

According to a survey by the American Foundation for the Blind, over three-quarters of the participants with visual disabilities were identified as not in the labor force. “While everyone is well aware that overall unemployment levels are high, it is even higher for the disabled, particularly vision-impaired individuals,” said Paul Bailo, MBA, MSW, Ph.D. (candidate), and Founder and CEO of Phone Interview Pro. “We have teamed up with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind to provide vision-impaired job-seekers with training to help them succeed in acing a phone interview and improve their confidence level.”
