Anthony Wilder Design/Build, Inc. (AWDB) is proud to announce its partnership with Rebuilding Together Montgomery County (RTMC) as part of an exciting fundraising event and live auction at the prestigious "Shops at Wisconsin Place" on Thursday, May 31, 2012.

As part of AWDB's involvement, the firm's team of architects, designers and carpenters have created the "AWDB Engine #7913," a whimsical and symbolic playhouse that will be showcased alongside 8 other playhouses from May 1st to the 31st. On the 31st, there will be a live auction and cocktail reception where attendees can bid on playhouses, raffle items and more from 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm.

“The RTMC Playhouse Project marks the first event of its kind for Anthony Wilder Design/Build,” states the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner, Elizabeth Wilder who continues to lead the firm alongside her husband Anthony Wilder. “We are excited to be participating in such an important initiative and hope that our playhouse will bring years of happiness and joy to a family while benefiting this important cause.”

AWDB’S 1st Playhouse: The Evolution of the AWDB Engine #7913

When the time came to decide on the theme of their playhouse, the team at AWDB sought inspiration from their office building- a former Cabin John fire station which dates back to the 1930’s. “The AWDB Engine #7913 is a tribute to the iconic fire station here at 7913 MacArthur Blvd and represents safety, community and family,” says Anthony Wilder. “It has been an incredibly gratifying process to see the way our entire team has collaborated on this project. Whereas we knew it was going to be an exciting challenge, we had no idea how much fun we were going to have in the process. The entire team here at AWDB is proud to be supporting Rebuilding Together Montgomery County and their life-changing mission of helping others.”

In support of this initiative, AWDB’s Fire Engine# 7913 will be featured on an event dedicated webpage, http://www.rebuilding-hope.org, where guests can preview all of the eight playhouses, get event related information and purchase tickets to the May 31st event. This website serves as a one-stop-shop for all event related details including information on each of the builders and sponsors, ticket sales, additional raffle items and more.

AWDB will also be promoting its iconic Engine #7913 playhouse on their company website (http://www.anthonywilder.com) and on facebook at (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Anthony-Wilder-DesignBuild-Inc/33077254171).AS.
