Cross Country Home Services, Inc. (CCHS), one of the country’s leading home warranty and services companies, announced today that its President, Sandra C. Finn, has again been recognized as one of the top women business leaders in Florida. The list was derived in a recent study conducted by The Commonwealth Institute, PNC Bank and Moore Research that looked at the characteristics of women business leaders. Finn, who ranked second this year, has appeared among the top five on the annual list for the past seven years and was honored at a luncheon on March 30 at Jungle Island in Miami, Fla.

The emphasis of the study, 2012 Top Women-Led Businesses in Florida, was on business challenges that women leaders are currently facing. Surveys were completed by hundreds of women leaders who hold the position of president, chief executive officer, chairwoman of the board, and/or primary owner of a for-profit or not-for-profit organization based in Florida. The findings suggest that women leaders are confident about 2012 business conditions; optimistic about future growth; and are looking forward to the challenges facing them in the next year.

Under Finn’s leadership, and with her focus on enhancing the customer experience, CCHS has experienced unprecedented growth. Since 2007, the company has nearly doubled its revenues and expanded its employee base, despite the rocky economy.

“It’s a real honor to be acknowledged once again by The Commonwealth Institute,” remarked Finn. “As a company, Cross Country Home Services is relentlessly focused on operational excellence and customer experience. That’s what’s driving our success and has positioned us so well for the future. As economic conditions improve, we look forward to continued growth with an increase in new products and services as well as new technologies and job opportunities, which is in line with the 2012 survey findings.”
