The iPhone may be small compared to the iPad but the rich 3D, the terrific sounds and the fun in the BibleKids 3D books series- is big.

BibleKids 3D announces the complete series of Bible stories is heading to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Stephen Wilkinson, Co-Founder BibleKids 3D LLC mentioned April 22nd, 2012 “We decided to port the books to mobile iOS devices based on feedback from our customers. Now the books will work on the iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3rd Gen or better, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. It was a bit tricky since all of the books were developed initially for the iPad. We went back through, reworked the screens and optimized for smooth frame rates even on the older devices. It looks very nice on such a hi-res screen. We think people will love it.”

The books in the series are Noah and the Ark, Christmas Story, Daniel and the Lion’s Den,Prodigal Son and soon to be released- David and Goliath. Daniel and the Lion’s Den and Prodigal Son released recently (April 21st, 2012) on the App Store for the iPad series.

The books are developed in a way where there are no pages; the stories play more like an interactive movie and are getting very good rating from users. Also included for each book are games and puzzles.

The focus of the books is to introduce kids the high-level Bible story in a fun interactive way, while leaving the theology up to the parents and Church. BibleKids 3D chose the most popular stories of the Christian Bible as a place to begin. So far the 5 book series seems to be hitting the mark with children, Stephen continues “We love to see videos of kids playing with the books. Eventually we would like to share how much fun kids are having. Keep the videos coming, who knows, we may add these to the BK3D website!”

The books can be played over and over and entertain your children on the road or at home for hours. The iPhone may be small compared to the iPad but the rich 3D, the terrific sounds and the fun in the BibleKids 3D books series- is big.

When asked when the iPhone versions will be released Wilkinson responded “We have the first one in the App Store waiting approval and the rest will come over the next few weeks, we will let everyone know when they are available.”
