Bettcher Industries, Inc. announces that Edward Alan Steele has joined the company as Director of Engineering. In this position, Steele will be responsible for the activities of the company’s Engineering Department, including the development of new products in the meat processing, foodservice equipment, industrial and medical device segments.
Steele comes to Bettcher Industries with a strong background in engineering, sales and customer service at several industrial manufacturing organizations. Prior to joining Bettcher Industries, he was with The Will-Burt Company in Orrville, Ohio, where he held positions of progressive managerial responsibility in engineering, sales and customer service.
He has also held design and engineering positions at Joslyn Hi-Voltage Corporation in Cleveland and S&C Electric in Chicago.
Steele holds a B.S. degree in Engineering from Ohio State University in Columbus. He and his family reside in Rocky River, Ohio.
