we set up Duport Accountants to help our clients keep their finances in order
Bristol, UK (PRWEB UK) 3 April 2012
Company formations experts Duport Associates Ltd report a record number of accountancy businesses formed in March 2012.
But small accounting firms are not the only part of a new finance boom for SMEs – the official Company Register also showed a new record number of bookkeeping firms for March 2012.
In March 2012 a record 92 new companies were formed using the word “accountancy” in their company name, and a record 28 using the term “bookkeeping”. This shows a clear rise in interest in new businesses in the financial services sector, and may relate to the tax year ending in April seeing as the previous record months for both terms was March 2010.
“March seems to be a busy month for new financial start-ups,” stated Duport Associates’ managing director, Peter Valaitis. “It seems the rush towards the end of the tax year encourages a lot of people to think about starting their own bookkeeping business or accountancy firm.”
It is often other small businesses and entrepreneurs who rely on the services of bookkeepers as it can be expensive to have an in-house accountant. Freelancers and accountancy companies can also ensure that managers and business owners aren’t struggling to find the time to fill out forms.
Peter Valaitis added, “At Duport we know exactly how important it can be to have a reliable, affordable bookkeeper, which is why we set up Duport Accountants to help our clients keep their finances in order.”
Accountants and bookkeepers can help firms, entrepreneurs and sole traders with their taxation and payroll responsibilities. They can even help them keep track of their cashflow with profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
The new record highs in formations for “accountancy” and “bookkeeping” companies in March 2012 shows that the UK’s financial sector is still strong.
