Swimovate Ltd., creators of the PoolMate™ swimming lap counter watch, are excited to announce the launch of the next version of the PoolMate Pro lap counter software, now available for Mac and PC. PoolmatePro Version 2.0 includes an easy to view calendar-based format, making it easy for swimmers to pick out sessions and view them in both a graphical and data format. When used with the innovative Poolmate Pro automatic lap counter watch, the software allows for easy sorting of data by stroke type and makes viewing of swim trends easy so that progress can be tracked over time.
The PoolMatePro offers swimmers comprehensive details about the effectiveness of their workout, including number of laps swam, distance, speed, efficiency index, and the number of calories burned. As reported by the company, the PoolMatePro is designed to help achieve a greater understanding of training progress over time in order to improve overall performance. Lisa Irlam, CEO of Swimovate said: “After listening to feedback from our customers we have made significant improvements to the first version of the software and brought it inline with how our swimmers want to see their data and use it. Customer feedback is really important and helps us develop a better product.”
In addition to improvements to Poolmate Pro, Swimovate has also improved the installation process, making it an easy, single step install rather than a complicated multiple step installation process. The updated software is available with all new Swimovate purchases and can be downloaded free of charge from the Swimovate downloads page. Current Poolmate Pro users are welcomed to download and install the new software free of charge as well.
