Co-sponsors Dealer Communications and Dataium, LLC, established these awards to recognize automotive dealers, managers and their website providers for exceptional performance of the websites they design, host, and support.
Ideal Nissan, a dealership near Rochester, NY, was the Spring 2012 Overall Winner. This award is based on the Auto Shopper Index (ASI), Dataium’s proprietary index for measuring auto shopper engagement, enthusiasm, and intensity within the consumer buying cycle. “The Digital Dealer Website Excellence Awards competition is the first of its kind and is completely objective based on statistics, not judging or voting,” says Michael Roscoe, President and CEO of Dealer Communications, who initiated the awards.

The award means that the Ideal Nissan dealership website was ranked in the top 5 of leads to visitor, returning visitors, search to visitor ratio, and within the top 10 for visitor to auto shopper conversion, when compared to other dealership websites with Dataium’s analytics code.
Another DealerOn client, Joe Cecconi’s Chrysler Complex, a Buffalo area dealership, was the winner of the Leads per Auto Shopper award. This means that out of the auto dealer websites for which Dataium tracks data, the site had the highest percentage of auto shoppers that submitted a lead.
