Entertainment Industries Council, Inc. honors actors and productions that accurately depict substance abuse and mental health issues and welcomes media who want to celebrate the ART of making a difference! A special tribute is also planned for our Veterans.

What:     The Entertainment Industries Council, Inc., in collaboration with FX Network, News Corporation, and others, presents the 16th Annual PRISM Awards, a gala awards show recognizing the accurate depiction of alcohol, tobacco and drug use and addiction, as well as mental health issues in film, television, interactive, music, DVD, and comic book entertainment. Also included will be a special tribute to our returning veterans.

Background: The Entertainment Industries Council presents the 16th Annual PRISM Awards to honor productions and performances that are not only delightfully entertaining, but also realistically show substance use and addiction, as well as mental health issues. The ceremony will be crafted into the nationally-televised PRISM Awards Showcase to be aired by our flagship partner FX and other networks.
