Tom Dunn of Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions Earns IFA’s Certified Franchise Executive Status

Tom Dunn was recently recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive by the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives.

The designation is given to those individuals who have dedicated their careers to franchising and have become students of our industry.

Honored by the International Franchise Association during their annual conference recently held in Orlando, FL , Tom Dunn, the Chief Operating Officer for Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions, was recognized as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). To earn the prestigious designation, candidates are required to complete a rigorous course of study offered by the institute, which is the academic branch of the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) Educational Foundation. The CFE program enhances franchising professionals’ understanding of both the industry’s fundamental and complex aspects.

Mr. Dunn, a franchise industry veteran, stated, “Since first joining the IFA several years ago, it was my goal to earn the CFE designation. The designation is given to those individuals who have dedicated their careers to franchising and have become students of our industry. I want to thank the employees of Filta, our Franchise Owners and Suppliers as well as my friends at the IFA for their support.”

Nearly 1,400 franchise executives are currently enrolled or have received CFE certification. More than 300 IFA-member companies currently have one or more executives enrolled in the program that provides benefits such as specialized knowledge, industry recognition, peer-level networking and professional standing.
