“Tammy’s experience makes her well suited to help bring Next Generation Trust Services to its next level of growth while keeping our operations running at peak performance,” said Raskulinecz.

Jaime Raskulinecz, CEO of Next Generation Trust Services, LLC has announced that Tammy LaBanca has joined the firm as its new Operations Manager. LaBanca comes to Next Generation Trust, a third-party administrator of self-directed retirement accounts, after several years in the banking industry. She has worked as a mortgage loan officer and in management at major financial institutions including JP Morgan Chase.

“Many of our clients’ self-directed retirement accounts include residential and commercial real estate as well as mortgages,” said Raskulinecz. “Tammy’s professional experience ties in directly with the types of alternative investments found in self-directed IRAs.” Self-directed IRAs allow for a broad array of nontraditional investments such as real estate, loans, mortgages, precious metals, and commercial paper. All investment decisions are made by the investor; the assets are held by firms like Next Generation Trust Services, which specializes in account administration and transaction support for these accounts.

LaBanca, a resident of West Orange, N.J., held management positions with responsibility and accountability for sales, operations, service, and employee development. At Next Generation Trust Services, she will oversee and manage all company staff, develop and formalize company policies and procedures, oversee all client transactions, maintain customer service functions, and streamline existing office procedures to increase efficiency and customer support. Earlier this year, the firm installed key technology upgrades to heighten its Internet security and boost its system’s performance.

Raskulinecz noted that self-direction as a retirement savings strategy continues to gain traction among investors who already understand the alternative investments allowed in these accounts, which is reflected in new-customer inquiries. “Tammy’s experience makes her well suited to help bring Next Generation Trust Services to its next level of growth while keeping our operations running at peak performance,” said Raskulinecz.
