Not-For-Profit community expert to discuss fundraising tactics at nonprofit conference

WHAT:    John Clese, Director of Product Marketing, Not-For-Profit at Avectra, a leading developer of web-based Social CRM solutions for associations and not-for-profits, will be a featured panel speaker at the Nonprofit Technology (NTEN) Conference 2012, taking place April 3-5 in San Francisco.

    NTEN is the membership organization of nonprofit professionals who put technology to use for their causes. The NTEN conference is the organization’s signature three-day gathering that brings together nonprofit professionals from around the world to collaborate, innovate, and maximize effectiveness. With a wide mix of social events, seminars, trainings, and resources, the 2012 NTEN Conference will help nonprofits put technology to work to further their causes.

WHO:     John Clese, Director of Product Marketing, Not-For-Profit at Avectra: Is a highly energized individual skilled in creating communities and strengthening ties to an organization’s mission. Clese has extensive and diverse fundraising experience with specialties in fiscal management, program and strategic planning, community development, staff and volunteer development, and collaboration and facilitation.
The panel discussion “Predictive Donor Value Metrics” will feature Clese along with Daniel Atherton and Breena Holmes of Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey (CCAH); and Matthew Grimm of the Environmental Defense Fund. The session will introduce attendees to the concepts of bringing offline donor value theory to the online world. Session attendees will learn:

  •     How to truly measure engagement in a predictive way
  •     How to find out who to target
  •     How a selectively-targeted upgrade strategy can reap big rewards

As part of the session, Clese will deliver a presentation on A-Score™, Avectra’s proprietary social analytics scoring system. The Avectra A-Score™ offers a way for organizations to measure constituents and relevant information about how constituents interact with an organization. Session attendees will learn about why it is important to score their constituents, which includes the ability to identify smarter, more targeted engagement activities, when donors may be disengaging from an organization and how to spot relevant trends within in an organization’s donor base.
