Newly released TermApp ISO driver expands automated testing solutions available from Ascert.

"VersaTest Automator clients using Ascert's DFS drivers have reported savings of 50% and higher in existing testing runs."

"This driver, which supports the standard interfaces for Point of Sale devices under the control of the Postilion message switch, further expands our support of the standards in use by banks and financial services providers in the EFT marketplace" said Mike Wainwright, Ascert's Business Development Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "As demonstrated by the recent high profile purchase of S1 by ACI, the Postilion switch has become a major player in the EFT marketplace as an alternative to BASE24 and the TermApp ISO protocol is the equivalent of the BASE24 SPDH POS standard and supported my most of the major POS device manufacturers. This driver therefore expands VersaTest Automator’s applicability for Postilion and mixed Postilion, BASE24 sites."

The TermApp ISO interface driver utilizes Ascert's Driver Framework Standards (DFS) which enables efficient sharing of common functions, cross functional testing across multiple test environments, and many automation features that significantly streamline the testing process. "Since these are supported drivers within the DFS library, customers subscribing to them will automatically benefit from having new mandates applied to the driver under maintenance. These updates are then available via easy download through the VersaTest Automator GUI" said Wainwright. The driver is already proven following its use in sites in the Middle East and Africa.

VersaTest Automator clients using Ascert's DFS drivers have reported savings of 50% and higher in existing testing runs thereby enabling test personnel to increase overall test coverage within the organization and bring their tested products to market sooner.
