We are excited to offer a truly innovative and interactive tool that not only educates our clients’ employees, but also helps increase participation in our voluntary products.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 04, 2012
Dearborn National has contracted Trustnode, a developer of a proprietary online interactive benefits education and enrollment application, to implement a sales and education tool that will simplify the voluntary benefits enrollment process for employer groups and their employees.
“We are excited to offer a truly innovative and interactive tool that not only educates our clients’ employees, but also helps increase participation in our voluntary products. Trustnode’s animated Web-based modules explain our benefits in an entertaining, no-pressure and stress-free manner that highlights why the benefits offered are valuable to employees and their families,” explained John Doyle, Dearborn National’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Trustnode has taken a cognitive science-based approach to engaging and guiding employees through their interactive online education platform. The tool features programmable animated characters that present Dearborn National’s benefit offerings in a personalized manner based on demographic-specific information. The tool seamlessly integrates with Dearborn National’s online enrollment system and gives employees 24-hour access during the enrollment period.
“We are thrilled to be working with such a pioneering company as Dearborn National. By leveraging our state-of-the-art human-computer dialogue techniques and proprietary decision support algorithms, Dearborn National will distinguish itself by converting the mundane enrollment process for employee-paid and voluntary benefits to an engaging and fulfilling one for their clients,” stated Kevin Dunn, Trustnode CEO.
Employers benefit from improved communication of benefit information provided on the employee’s computer screen at work or wherever is convenient for them. No additional software program is necessary, and employees see only those benefits for which they are eligible. Employers also have access to enrollment reports that track employees who have completed the enrollment process.
“We expect our new tool to provide employers with improved efficiency as a result of reduced paperwork, and ultimately, lower costs associated with administering voluntary benefits. As a company focused on the growth of the voluntary insurance benefit market, we want to make understanding benefits and the enrollment process as easy as possible for everyone,” said Doyle.
