Rum For All's core mission is to raise the understanding and the public profile of Rum by making the case that Rum is, in fact, as noble and grand as Scotch Whisky, Bourbon, Cognac and Armagnac.

“I know I speak for the rest of the PDT crew in attendance when I say it was tremendously fun and educational,” said bartender John deBary of fabled Please Don't Tell bar in New York.

Debbie Anday, head bartender at trendsetting Lani Kai in New York, commented, “I can’t tell you how excited I am to share all of the new information about Rum that I learned today with cohorts as well as guests at my bar. The tasting and discussion were really informative as well as inspiring.”

These are just two of the numerous reactions received from the 70 participants of last week’s Rum For All ( event held at Keens Steakhouse in New York City.

Directed by award-winning journalist/author/educator F. Paul Pacult (F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal; Ultimate Beverage Challenge LLC; Beverage Alcohol Resource LLC) and journalist/consultant Sean Ludford (, Rum For All is the groundbreaking membership-based, educational program, established in 2011 by Spirit Journal, Inc.,that represents the dawn of a new era for Rum in North America. At each Rum For All event, bartenders, retailers and media enjoy a spirited presentation covering everything from the birth of Rum to the present day cocktails. Then they taste a world-class selection of exemplary Rums.

Rum For All is unstoppable.”

Added Ludford,”Having the opportunity to learn about the intriguing pedigree of this great spirit and then to taste an extraordinary flight of world-class Rums is enlightening for bartenders, retailers and media.”
