Dejero, creator of the award-winning LIVE+ bonded wireless transmission solution, announces that Harris will showcase the Dejero LIVE+ Platform at the upcoming National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show in Las Vegas. The Harris exhibit will demonstrate the Dejero LIVE+ Platform as a seamlessly integrated solution into Harris’ wide range of Multiviewer products. Notably, Harris will be showing live-from-the-floor transmissions of the upcoming Dejero LIVE+ Mobile App for iPhone 4S and iPad viewed on a Harris HView IP Multiviewer and into an SDI production environment.
TV broadcasters will now have the ability to cover breaking news faster, more affordably, and with more flexibility, simply by incorporating Dejero products into a station’s existing workflow. The Dejero LIVE+ Platform enables broadcasters to affordably transmit high quality HD or SD live video from a multitude of mobile devices – professional grade rugged transmitters, laptops, and smart phones. This innovative solution allows broadcasters to quickly and easily go live, transmit recorded video, stream to the web, or send files remotely.
Whether a broadcaster is in need of a high-quality HD live shot from a news crew, immediate coverage of a breaking story by a reporter with a smart phone, or instant transmission of edited video from a laptop for later airing, the Dejero LIVE+ Platform offers a reliable solution that expands and simplifies the way broadcasters acquire content.
"Dejero is proud to be working closely with an industry leader like Harris, to provide broadcasters with the most effortless integration of cellular transmission technologies into their existing workflows.” said Dan Mance, Dejero CEO. “Broadcasters have been rapidly adopting bonded cellular transmission technologies into newsgathering operations, leveraging the pervasive access and increasing bandwidth of current 3G and emerging 4G/LTE networks. The challenge for many broadcasters and professional media companies is now in integrating the many hundreds of potential news streams into their production workflow. The Dejero-Harris solution solves that problem by integrating the Harris HView IP directly with the Dejero LIVE+ Broadcast Server, simplifying the workflow while saving our customers time and money.”
“Dejero’s LIVE+ wireless transmission solutions provide an innovative method for field personnel to use the latest off-the-shelf smart phones and tablets to capture and transmit data back to their broadcast facilities”, said Kerry Wheeles, Product Marketing Director at Harris. “Our HView Multiviewers provide support for monitoring a wide range of both baseband and compressed signals in real-time. Adding support for Dejero’s wireless transmission solutions as an extension of our platform provides broadcasters with a clear-cut solution for efficient monitoring of real-time feeds from the field.”
The Dejero-Enabled Multiviewer demonstration can be viewed at the Harris Booth (number N2502 in the North Hall) during NAB Show, April 16-19 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
