Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 06, 2012
DuVine Adventures and Cannondale, a division of Dorel Industries, Inc, announced today the launch of Cannondale Tours powered by DuVine Adventures, a series of luxury cycling tours that will combine the world’s best bikes with the world’s best cycling destinations. Cannondale Tours will take place this year in six premier destinations in the United States and Europe. These unique tours offer exclusive access to the insider’s world of pro cycling during major events, allowing guests to experience the most challenging and rewarding rides of their lives.
“I enjoy riding my Cannondale and want others to experience the ride too. I am proud to be rolling out Cannondale Tours powered by DuVine Adventures,” said Andy Levine, President and Founder of DuVine Adventures. “This is a well-thought out program designed to offer Cannondale riders a unique and memorable experience both on and off the bicycle. This partnership blends both companies’ strengths to offer loyal riders, who appreciate top-notch service and high-end quality, a travel experience like no other. Most importantly, these tours are exclusive to Cannondale enthusiasts and no other travel company can duplicate the value or the access of these offers.”
During its inaugural year, Cannondale Tours will take place during key races and events, and guests will have behind-the-scenes access to pro athletes, teams, and a unique race experience. Guests will be riding the Cannondale SuperSix, the same bike that won the Giro and the Vuelta. After a day of riding pro courses, guests will be treated like the pros with a post ride massage and true Euro-Pro treatment, and have all the comforts of luxury travel, gourmet cuisine and world class wines.
“Cannondale Tours is for cyclists that want to challenge themselves by riding world-famous routes, led by professional, experienced guides, while being truly immersed in a region’s culture. Guests will bike hard, eat and drink well, and sleep in style,” said Bob Burbank, Global General Manager, Cannondale. “DuVine Adventures has operated personalized cycling tours since 1996 and is the perfect partner for Cannondale Tours.”
Cannondale Tours powered by DuVine Adventures will begin June 6-11, 2012, with a trip to the French Alps and the Criterium du Dauphine. All tours give guests insider’s access to major races and events where Cannondale athletes will be competing, including the Italian Dolomites, USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado, La Vuelta a Espana, World Championships in Kona, and the Tuscany Challenge.
