GBK's Kids’ Choice Awards event was a wonderful place to share the Make Life Better Foundation’s message of combating obesity and diabetes with actors and their families, said Kristen Montgomery of Unicity.
Hollywood, CA & Orem, UT (PRWEB) April 05, 2012
The Make Life Better Foundation announced that they successfully introduced their mission to spread need-based hope and health around the world to Kids Choice Award winner for Favorite TV Actor, Jake Short and cast members of Favorite TV Show winner ‘Victorious’ Mikey Reid, Leon Thomas III, as well as other nominees like Alex Heartman, ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’ actor Zachary Gordon, and their families, at the Fund Raising Event benefiting the American Cancer Society hosted by GBK Productions, BOP & Tiger Beat this last weekend in Hollywood.
The Make Life Better Foundation sent a teen team, Christopher (age 15), McKall (age 15), Kylie (age 13) and Nate (age 11), to introduce the foundation, powered by Unicity’s Bios Life Slim and the Get Slim Now Transformation. The Teen Team, along with Unicity President Brent Morrill, Director of Global Marketing, Kristen Montgomery and Transformation Specialist Cori Dyer, met with Kid’s Choice Awards nominees, presenters and their families. Many of the winners and nominees signed bright orange ‘Make Life Better’ Foundation tee-shirts as part of their effort to raise funds to support their cause. Unicity International also donated an array of products to the American Cancer Society and the Kids’ Choice Awards honorees and presenters.
“Leon Thomas III from Victorious was awesome and he really liked what the Make Life Better Foundation is doing to help teens and their families,” says Nate, Make Life Better teen team who attended GBK’s Kids’ Choice Birthday Bash for the American Cancer Society. “He signed our Make Life Better Foundation t-shirt and wished us good luck with our cause.”
The Make Life Better Foundation teen team shared their message and packages of Bios Life Slim, created by Unicity, which assists with managing blood glucose levels, cholesterol levels and weight loss—three major concerns worldwide. Bios Life Slim also limits the impact of carbohydrate intake through its proprietary Slim Multiplier and is designed to help curb appetite between meals while maintaining necessary energy levels throughout the day. Celebrities and their families were delighted to hear about the Make Life Better cause and the products donated.
Kristen Montgomery, Unicity’s Director of Global Marketing, was pleased to attend the event to help the Make Life Better Foundation share its life-changing mission with stars and their families:
“The Kids’ Choice Awards event was a wonderful place to share the Foundation’s message of combating obesity and diabetes with actors and their families,” said Kristen Montgomery. “The Make Life Better Foundation teen team was happy that stars like Jake Short, Mikey Reid, Leon Thomas III, Alex Heartman, and Zachary Gordon were so interested and willing to help the Make Life Better Foundation by autographing their shirts to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.”
The event, sponsored by GBK Productions, BOP & Tiger Beat, is the recipient of multiple BizBash Awards for “Best Gift Bag,” and offered its exclusive list of invited celebrities, VIPs, and media an opportunity to enjoy an exciting environment with gifts, refreshments with a charitable focus. Featured at the event was a 14 foot centerpiece Birthday Cake Press Wall in honor of the American Cancer Society to help people have more birthdays by fighting the spread of cancer.
