USAA and the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association have joined forces to strengthen support of those who have honorably served, easing the way for almost 14,000 CPOA members to access USAA's world-class insurance and financial services.

The agreement positions USAA as the preferred provider of financial services including insurance, banking, investments, brokerage services and financial guidance. The USAA Bank makes a contribution to CPOA with every new USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® credit card account opened and each time CPOA members make an eligible purchase with their CPOA USAA Rewards™ World MasterCard® credit card.

"We're proud to be working with the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association to introduce eligible members to USAA's wide range of products and services," says John Townes III, retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and USAA senior vice president, Military Affairs. "We have a lot of respect for CPOA and look forward to providing solutions that will help facilitate the financial security of eligible CPOA members and families."

"This is an exciting opportunity for all of us at CPOA," says Timothy A. Trimble, president of the association. "This new relationship is an example of our mutual commitment to the financial well-being of eligible Coasties and their families."

About the U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association
In 1933, the Chief Petty Officers organized themselves into an association that would make their issues and concerns known to Coast Guard Headquarters. They organized to "encourage fidelity, integrity to the Service, and better understanding and fellowship, and to advance the best interests of the enlisted personnel of the Coast Guard."
